Three years after his rape complaint against Luc Besson, Sand Van Roy spoke for the first time on the subject on television. And in particular pointed out the work of the French justice in the case.

Facts that the director of the Fifth Element has always denied, as well as the complaints made by five other women. And while the case could once again be dismissed, the prosecution having requested a dismissal in October, the actress spoke for the first time on television.
In the number of “Further investigation” dedicated to Roman Polanski and broadcast this Thursday, November 11 on France 2, Sand Van Roy reaffirmed his desire not to “let go”. Despite the criticisms leveled at French justice: “This complaint completely shattered my life”, she says. “I regret having lodged a complaint in France, because this country does not protect the victims of famous people.”
While “the materiality of the facts is contested”, Sand Van Roy recalls that she had to undergo several psychiatric examinations and that the documents attesting to her depression or post-traumatic stress, established by the doctors, were not entered in the file. And, at the same time, Luc Besson has never been taken into police custody, nor will his DNA have been taken for several years.
“OVERTRAUMATIZED” AND “BLACKLIST”
The actress specifies, however, that she would file a new complaint if everything had to be redone. Corn “not in France. Not in this country which mistreated me, which overtraumatized me”, she says in addition to her desire to “to confront people who have done legal nonsense.” In the meantime, these accusations have also had a negative effect on his career, the momentum of which was stopped dead.
“In France, I had only one casting [depuis 2018]. I had just shot Taxi, so I did a lot of castings, I had a good agent, everything was good… And since then, it has stopped. “ Comments corroborated by a producer contacted by the show and who was to give him a role when the accusations were made: “When his name came out, [elle a été] blacklisted, meaning people didn’t want to hire her anymore. “
