The dilemma should be familiar to many home cinema fans out there: the sound of a flat screen TV is usually rather mediocre for crashing action or thrilling fight scenes like in “Avengers: Endgame” suitable. Only an external sound system can help. While high-end devices put a heavy strain on your wallet, very cheap soundbars hardly offer any more sound than flat-screen TVs.
This is where the Samsung HW-Q710B soundbar comes into play. Because the compact 3.1.2 bar produces an excellent sound in combination with the massive subwoofer and, thanks to current discounts, is priced at well under €400.
Samsung is currently offering you €55 cashback on the purchase price of €429.99. According to Adam Riese, this is ultimately a historically low €374.99 for the high-quality soundbar.

The small bolt is just six centimeters flat and does not protrude into the screen of most flat screen TVs. From a screen diagonal of 65 inches, the 111 centimeter wide soundbar even fits under the television if the feet are mounted on the outside. Alternatively, suitable brackets for potential wall mounting are included in the scope of delivery.
The best way to connect the HW-Q710B to your television is via an HDMI cable. So you get the maximum in terms of spatial sound and can regulate the volume with your TV remote control. The soundbar has its own HDMI connection and transmits the signals well. But note that you should better connect next-gen consoles like the Playstation 5 directly to your television so that you can use the full 120 Hertz.
In the bar itself, eight loudspeakers ensure a rich sound. Two of them are attached to the top and produce a very good surround sound in connection with the Dolby Atmos format. In general, the sound can be characterized as warm.
The HW-Q710B produces even better sound when connected to a Samsung television. Then the boxes of the TV are also used, which further improves the spatial sound.
Of course, the Samsung Soundbar can be connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth and also plays music and radio plays in outstanding quality. For well under €400 you can hardly get a better soundbar at the moment.
