The fourth season of “LOL: Last One Laughing” again sends ten stars into the race, who have to avoid laughing in the comedy show – and ideally manage to elicit at least a slight movement of the corners of the mouth from the competition with fun ideas.
We don’t know all ten participants yet, but Amazon Prime Video announced the first eight names today:
- A newcomer is a comedian, actress, presenter Cordula Stratmanknown from such different formats as “Rooms free!” and “Schillerstrasse”.
- Also the German acting star Moritz Bleibtreu wants to know for the first time on “LOL”.
- Brings more “LOL” experience Martina Hill With. In the second season she was 8th – there is still room for improvement.
- A true “LOL” expert is Kurt Kromer. After a season break, he tries to continue the positive trend from 9th place (season 1) to 6th place (season 2).
- For the second time after 7th place in Season 3 tries it Hazel Brugger.
- Meanwhile, a stage and TV comedian is new Michael Mittemeier.
- Another newcomer is ex-Stefan Raab sidekick Elton.
- Last known Season 4 member is Jan van Weyde. The former “Sturm der Liebe” star was already part of the permanent ensemble of the comedy show “Binge Reloaded” on Amazon Prime Video and is now also making his “LOL” debut on the streaming service.
We don’t yet know when Amazon will announce the other two names. The only thing that is certain is that no star will enter the race for the fourth time. “LOL” veteran Anke Engelke, who was the only one to appear in all previous seasons, will not do the honors again. “I’d really like to be a spectator for once,” the actress and comedian told us in an interview ahead of Season 3. With the victory in this one, she deserved the break more.

In addition, there are also two stars who have always been there: Max Giermann was a guest after third place and a win in the third season, Rick Kavanian was eighth in the first season and then also appeared in the two subsequent editions as a guest.
The fourth season will again be moderated by Michael “Bully” Herbig. Start of the fourth season “LOL: Last One Laughing‘ will be on Amazon Prime Video in April 2023.
