Liam Neeson takes up arms again in “Blacklight”! On the occasion of the release of Mark Williams’ thriller, the actor answered our questions, notably drawing the parallel between the character he plays and the famous Bryan Mills from the “Taken” trilogy.
Blacklight: scandal at the FBI
Two years later The Good CriminalLiam Neeson reunites with director Mark Williams for Blacklight. After playing a burglar in search of redemption, the actor is this time on the right side of the law. In this thriller, the actor lends his features to Travis Block, an FBI agent acting as a last resort when a situation gets out of hand.
When his superiors ask him to silence his colleague Dusty Crane (Taylor John Smith), even if it means using force, Travis Block discovers that the young recruit is about to reveal compromising information on the methods of the federal agency. He realizes that his employers might have betrayed him. When he turns to journalist Mira Jones (Emmy Raver-Lampman) to reveal the scandal, Block is hunted down and does everything to protect his family.

The film also marks the reunion between Liam Neeson and Aidan Quinn, after Michael Collins and Without identity. Claire van der Boom rounds out the cast.

For the release of this feature film where he takes up arms again, the actor answered our questions. In particular, he pointed out the similarities between Travis Block and Bryan Millsthe hero of the trilogy Taken. Like this iconic character, the FBI agent has missed his family life and is trying to make up for it. And like his predecessor, Travis Block will demonstrate special skills, acquired over a long career.
