Vincent Cassel and Eva Green will be at the head of “Liaison”, Apple’s first French-English series. A first image has been unveiled as well as information on the rest of the cast.
Apple TV +, the quiet force
Slowly but surely, Apple TV + continues to develop. Far from being for the moment at the level of Netflix, Disney + or Amazon Prime Video, the Apple service takes its time to propose projects that all have something to attract, generally at the level of the casting. So there has already been See with Jason Momoa and The Morning Show with Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell (just that!). Less flashy but ultimately perhaps more interesting, there was also Dickinson with the very nice Hailee Steinfeld. And lately Lisey’s story was able to reunite Julianne Moore and Clive Owen in a Stephen King series.
From now on, we will be interested in Bonding (formerly titled Brussels), a series that promises to be very intriguing and should interest more than one since we will find Vincent Cassel and Eva Green!
A superb duet for the thriller Bonding
Apple has just announced the order of this Franco-English thriller which will be carried by the two French performers who are no longer present internationally. This will be the first original Apple creation in French and English. In addition to this announcement, a first image has already been unveiled.
In its press release, Apple announces that Bonding will be “a contemporary thriller that explores the issues and the possible devastating consequences of past mistakes on our future“. The plot will mix espionage and politics under passionate love. We do not know more about the story and the characters who will be played by Vincent Cassel and Eva Green, but their very presence is enough to wait for this next program.
With them will be present in Bonding Peter Mullan, Gérard Lanvin, Daniel Francis, Stanislas Mehrar, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu or Laetitia Eïdo. Stephen Hopkins will take charge of the production while Virginie Brac (Gears) is in creation and writing.
No release date has yet been announced for Bonding.
