Gilles Lellouche, who plays the character of Eric in Les Petits mouchoirs, performed his mea culpa at the microphone of Live Cine Studio, revealing the reasons which gave rise, according to him, to “a little tense days.” “We were eight, we were talking, we were between us; he was alone behind his combo, giving us directions”, said the actor. “It was all a mess in his head and a feeling of exclusion.”
“I wanted the actors to feel things as I had felt them when writing. I was quite obsessive, asking them to follow to the comma what I had written, imagined”, clarified Guillaume Canet during the promotion of the film. “I have never made a film with so much passion”.
If Guillaume Canet had a bad experience during part of the filming of Les Petits mouchoirs, it is because his comrades were somewhat dissipated but also because, guided by passion, he probably did not want to miss out on this very personal project. Proof of its maximum involvement? The stress of beginning to write left her with facial paralysis and the end ended in tears, in the middle of filming The Farewell Affair.
