The first season of “L’Amour flou”, which continues the story told in the eponymous feature film by Romane Bohringer and Philippe Rebbot, ends tonight on Canal +. The series, also with Monica Bellucci, will she be entitled to a season 2?

Launched on November 8 on Canal +, the series L’Amour flou, adapted from the eponymous film by Romane Bohringer and Philippe Rebbot released in theaters in 2018, is already coming to an end this evening with the broadcast, from 9:10 p.m., of the last three episodes of the first season.

The end of the season seems to be the end of the “Sépartement” and could very well serve as a conclusion for this sequel in the form of a series of the feature film L’Amour flou. But its characters so endearing, between fiction and reality, and its hilarious situations obviously make viewers want to see more. So what is it? Will a season 2 see the light of day?

While the channel has not communicated for the moment about a possible second batch of episodes, Romane Bohringer and Philippe Rebbot, met in early October during a press conference, seem ready to resume. Even if no season 2 project is yet concretely in the pipeline.

“If we have to rush again, we can rush to infinity. We must not push ourselves”, admits Philippe Rebbot, in reference to the series and the adventure of the “Sépartement”, which he humorously describes as “big botched”. “I’m having a good time with Romane and the children. Filmed or not. So I want to continue, of course”.

A desire to reiterate the experience that Romane Bohringer fully shares, who wrote and directed the nine episodes of L’Amour flou. “When I came out of the show, I was like ‘I’ll never be able to just act again, I’m going to be bored.’ I was too happy with them. If I could, I would have stayed behind the camera indefinitely. , to film them. I was in total bloom. (…) No one is more inspiring than Philippe for me. There is no one that I find more interesting to film “.

“Life is still being written, so yes, there will always be things to tell”, continues the actress, screenwriter, and director, who tried for the first to the serial exercise thanks to this sequel ordered by Canal + after the success of the film. “But for the moment we cannot say. The chance given to us to do our job together, under these conditions, is miraculous. So will it be a season 2 or something else, I do not don’t know “.

It remains to be seen what a possible second season could tell, after the events of the last episode. But according to Philippe Rebbot, the rest could simply be interested in the “third phase” of his relationship with Romane Bohringer. A story that obviously continues to be written in real life. Far from the cameras. For the moment anyway.

“We spent L’amour blou. We were made not to be together, finally. Here it will be the third phase:” It was better after. “Romane and I, we are friends, we made children, It binds us enormously. Because as we both love our children to death, by intervening persons that makes us love each other, no matter what “.
