Good news for La Casa de Papel fans! Netflix has officially just ordered a Berlin-centric spin-off. We haven’t finished hearing about the successful Spanish series.
Farewell to La Casa de Papel is not for now. While Netflix subscribers will discover the end of the series this Friday, the American SVOD giant has just announced, according to Deadline, commissioning a spin-off focused on Berlin, one of the fan-favorite characters.
A not-so-surprising announcement considering that Netflix had already made known its desire to expand the universe, but so far the rumors were only about a series centered on the narrator Tokyo (Ursula Corbero).
We don’t know much about this spin-off other than that it will be available sometime in 2023 on Netflix. It should logically tell the story of Andrés de Fonollosa’s early years as a robber. It remains to be seen if it is still Pedro Alonso who will lend him his features …
