It was nearly impossible to miss the final Super Smash Bros. announcement. Ultimate, which will soon see the arrival of Sora, the hero of the Kingdom Hearts series. A series that shone rather by its absence on Nintendo consoles.
In order to allow some to catch up, and others to once again take advantage of the famous “yes but on Switch” marketing argument, the director of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Masahiro Sakurai took advantage of his last appearance (to date) to precisely announce the arrival of the Kingdom Hearts series on the most transportable of consoles.
As for Clad gaming
If no date has yet been brought forward, a good part of the sprawling saga of Tetsuya Nomura will soon be available on Switch, since were announced today:
– Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX Cloud Version (which compiles the episodes FINAL MIX, Re: Chain of Memories,
358/2 Days, FINAL MIX II, Birth by Sleep and Re: coded)
– Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Cloud Version (which compiles the episodes Dream Drop Distance, Hearts χ Back Cover and Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage)
– Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind Cloud Version (which compiles the third episode and its DLC)
So this should allow the more daring of action-gamers to discover the rather convoluted universe of Kingdom Hearts, and thus take advantage of the many winks that should dot Super Smash Bros. Ultimate starting October 19.
On the other hand, it will therefore be necessary to wait to find out the date on which the Kingdom Hearts series will land on Switch thanks to cloud gaming. Every time, Organization XIII will get involved again …
