Recently invited to Stephen Colbert’s set, Keanu Reeves revealed which were the only two celebrities he had asked for an autograph.
Currently starring in Matrix Resurrections, the fourth installment of the famous saga in which he plays Neo, Keanu Reeves was recently on the set of Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The opportunity for him to reveal some anecdotes and tell unusual memories to his fans.
During a short questionnaire, the actor thus confided that during his life, he had requested an autograph from only two celebrities, who both died today: comedian George Carlin, and singer Lou Reed, who had also agreed to sign for one of Keanu Reeves’ friends:
“It was not a problem for him”told the star of Matrix. “It was on a little piece of paper, in blue ink. And he just marked ‘Lou Reed.'”
As for George Carlin, who had briefly shared the screen with Keanu Reeves in The Excellent Adventure of Bill and Ted, he had acceded to the request of the actor by using his usual sense of humor:
“He wrote…I think it was ‘Dear Keanu, F*** you!'”remembered the actor. “I always thought he wrote that just for me. And then I met someone else who told me he had the same thing. Anyway, that’s great.”
After finding his mythical role of Neo in Matrix Resurrections (released on December 22), Keanu Reeves will also return to service next year in the costume of John Wick, whose new stunts are expected in March 2023.
