A sequel is on the way justified
A few weeks ago we announced that the series justified would get a sequel. Worn for six seasons by Timothy Olyphant, the show featured marshall Raylan Givens, back in Kentucky after a blunder. In his hometown, he will meet old acquaintances, not all of whom are recommendable. From then on, he will try to restore order with unorthodox methods.

The FX chain has therefore decided to launch a sequel with Justified: City Primeval. A new series, still with Timothy Olyphant. A project that resembles that of Showtime which recently relaunched dexter with the miniseries New Blood. Finally, let us specify that this will be an adaptation of the new City Primeval: High Noon In Detroit of Elmore Leonard, the origin of the character.
Quentin Tarantino back on the small screen?
If the return of Timothy Olyphant is good news, Deadline announces an even better one. According to the American media, Quentin Tarantino would be about to sign for direct one or two episodes of the series. We know the filmmaker’s interest in the western. And those who have seen the series a little know that it tends greatly towards this genre while being, at the base, a detective series.
Moreover, as Tarantino approaches cinematic retirement (since he intends to stop making films after his tenth), we would be very happy to still have him behind the camera, even for the duration of an episode of the series. . Finally, it should be noted that this would not really be a first for the filmmaker. In the past, he had already directed episodes of series. Episode 24 of the first season of Emergencies (1995), as well as episodes 24 and 25 of the fifth season of experts (2005).
