Long before the launch of jumper, Hayden Christensen had given himself up on the possibility of consequences. According to him, Liman had made sure that the characters would have the capacity to develop. The director himself had put forward some ideas. The ideas got so big that they couldn’t fit in one or two movies. They needed at least three films to be developed. So we thought of the story over three films and then cut it out so that we had enough material for the other two films.
