As part of an evening on online violence, France 2 is broadcasting on October 11 the TV movie “Judged without justice” carried by Yannick Choirat and Ophélia Kolb. The fiction relates the painful experience of a man victim of a miscarriage of justice, overwhelmed by rumor and social networks.

France 2 offers a thematic evening around online violence, composed of an unreleased TV movie and documentary. The fiction Judged without justice, an adaptation of the novel by Mathieu Menegaux Is this how men judge ?, will be followed by the documentary Anger networks. The TV movie follows a man without stories, who will find himself at the heart of a dramatic affair and will thus be ostracized from society by rumor and social networks.
The scenario is as follows: Gustavo, husband and father of a “perfect” family, was to live his professional hour of glory that day. But this long-awaited day turns into a nightmare: he is placed in police custody for kidnapping attempt on minor and intentional homicide. Is Gustavo guilty? Claire, the alleged victim, posts her story on social media. Gustavo and his family enter the spiral of popular retribution. Is it possible to get out of it and in what state? Justice clashes with the court of opinion and rumor …
The facts date back three years and very little evidence can accuse Gustavo. However, he can count on the relentlessness of Commander Defils, ready to close this case, and the anger of the revengeful teenager addicted to social networks to make him plunge into a real nightmare.
