Currently starring in Antonin Peretjatko’s “The Piece Report”, Josiane Balasko embodies a mother and great tyrannical bourgeoisie, determined that her son should conceive an heir, but not with just anyone … A comedy by very high flying, incredibly funny and sour, that she told us (video)!
The patch : an adaptation by Antonin Peretjatko
After The Girl of July 14 and The law of the jungle, director Antonin Peretjatko is back in the cinema with The patch, the adaptation of a short story written by Noëlle Renaude, It takes an heir. An infinitely funny and creaking story, that of a meeting between a young girl of her time, Ava (Anaïs Demoustier), one could say a “normal” young girl, and an old boy over forty from a family of the upper middle class, the Château-Têtards. The boy in question is called Paul (Philippe Katerine), he lives with his family in a private mansion in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and has never taken the metro in his life.
Around them, there is a tyrannical mother (Josiane Balasko) who is desperate that her son andouille does not give an heir, a driver who seems to be hiding something (Sergi Lopez), also an apprentice private detective (William Lebghil ) …
The patch : a comedy served by a great cast
There is no doubt, the cast seems to have taken as much pleasure in playing their roles as the public watching the film. Humor The patch is thus multifaceted, from light and burlesque it becomes absurd and squeaky, from the comic of situation one passes easily to the comic of characters. And so on, in a great waltz that doesn’t seem to want to stop. To ensure this spectacle, the assembled cast is perfectly invested and regales in its dialogues and its situations.
We had the chance to meet Josiane Balasko, iconic French comedy actress. She told us about her role, her playing partner Philippe Katerine and the comic sense of Antonin Peretjatko.
