On the poster of Don’t Look Up, Jennifer Lawrence and Jonah Hill share a few scenes together and obviously, it was not easy.
Don’t Look Up continues to be talked about. And this for many reasons. Whether it’s for its incredible cast, its warning message on climate change or for its sometimes improbable filming anecdotes.
Following her tooth’s story in months, Jennifer Lawrence has made further revelations about her work with Jonah Hill. The collaboration was apparently “really, really hard” in his words. There is no animosity between the two, however, and the difficulty they faced during filming is entirely due to Jonah Hill’s surprising improvisational skills.
In a video interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer Lawrence, who plays astronomer Kate Dibiasky, said: “It was really, really hard shooting with Jonah, and just not wasting take after take, laughing.” She continued: “Once, we devoted a whole day to him, just to improvise insults against him. It was amazing.“
“He’s just a master of comedy“, she added. Jonah Hill is not the only one with a crazy talent for improvising. Meryl Streep too. But that, we will tell you tomorrow.
