The Xbox Games With Gold schedule takes a bit of a lead over the calendar year, as the January games may already have leaked ahead of their time.
Once is not customary, it is through the forums of the site Dealabs that the information may have been leaked. As with many games offered “for free” in recent months, starting with the PlayStation Plus line-up from the same month of January 2022, it’s the leaker Billbil-kun which sells the wick before its time, and thinks it knows the next four games of the Xbox Games With Gold program, to follow.

NeuroVoider (January 1-31, 2022)
NeuroVoider is a twin-stick shooter RPG that takes place in a futuristic cyberspace where brains take on evil robots with nuclear rocket launchers. Face the horde of vigilant robots, power up your character with the smoldering carcasses of your victims, and challenge master NeuroVoider to end this relentless war. Play co-op with up to 4 friends, or go solo on a hack’n’slash version of destruction, with a touch of Rogue-lite and a bit of permadeath.
Aground (January 16 to February 15, 2022)
Aground is a prospecting / building RPG in which players are presented with a goal, story, and reason for the need to craft and build every item and structure. As you progress through the game, you’ll meet new characters, unlock new technology, and maybe even… a little magic! Will you be successful in raising dragons? To join space? After all, why limit yourself to the earthly skies? Beyond its apparent simplicity, Aground hides an unexpected depth and a multitude of surprises that will make you constantly wonder what awaits you next!

Radiant Silvergun HD (January 1 to 15, 2022)
Restored by Treasure, Radiant Silvergun is finally available! The gameplay that made it a shoot ’em up legend remains intact, enhanced with a secret mode “à la Ikaruga”. Previously only available in Japan, Radiant Silvergun gets a facelift on Xbox LIVE Arcade with Leaderboards, two-player local or Xbox LIVE mode, downloadable replays and revamped graphics.
Space Invaders Infinity Gene (January 16-31, 2022)
Space Invaders is back! The title that has defined the video game for many generations returns with a new system: similar to the original game when you start playing, it evolves over the course of the game. Unlock stages, upgrades and more! The full game offers a total of 143 stages for Normal mode and the breathtaking Challenge mode where these change with each game. You can even fight in stages that evolve to the sound of your own music and compare your scores in real time with players around the world.
