Inaugurated on MTV in 1999, the crazy adventure “Jackass” could stop its destructive course with the new and film “Jackass Forever”. A hilarious and very painful epic, made up of stunts as absurd as they are dangerous, the conclusion of which promises to be insane.
Jackass Forever, one last delirium for the road
Attention, danger sequence in perspective. With Jackass Forever, it is a strange page which will turn in the world of the spectacle, let us specify the immature and always surprising world of the spectacle of the band of Jackass, led by the indestructible Johnny Knoxville. What was a simple MTV show in 1999, designed to make people laugh with stunt people who hurt themselves heartily, has thus become a one-of-a-kind franchise for over twenty years. Three seasons, twenty-five shows and so far three “classic” feature films on the clock for Knoxville and his friends – Jeff Tremaine, Dave England, Chris Pontius, Steve-O and the others – which have magically survived to their own sado-masochistic and crazy stunts.
With Jackass Forever, the circle will be closed, and for the occasion newcomers have joined the old ones. Proof that the adventure could continue? Nothing less certain, since Johnny Knoxville assured last year that this movie Jackass would be his last…
Newcomers introduce themselves
In a featurette unveiled by Paramount (at the head of the article), we can thus discover most of the new ones in the band. We find the skater and actor Eric Manaka, the actress Rachel Wolfson, the rapper and stuntman Jasper Dolphin, the stuntman Zach Holmes and Sean McInerney known as “Poopies”. All are entitled to these images at their very painful moment. Taser test, snake bite, fall in cacti …
Johnny Knoxville now has entirely white hair but his laughter has kept all his youth and we can tell that the atmosphere on the set was good! We are necessarily as perplexed as they admired such devotion, especially when we know that Steve-O and Johnny Knoxville were hospitalized on the second day of filming.
