


Through a report by the Japanese portal Comic Natalie became today knownthat the light novel »Am I Actually the Strongest?« (Japanese: »Jitsu wa Ore, Saikyou deshita?«) will be adapted as an anime series. You can find a first visual further down in this article.

So far, all that is known is that the anime adaptation is a series that is scheduled to be broadcast on Japanese television over the next year. A concrete start date and details about the participants are still pending at the moment.
The original light novel, penned by Sai Sumimori, launched on the »Shousetsuka ni Narou« website in September 2018 and has been released in Japanese stores since May 2019, with illustrations by Ai Takahashi. The fifth volume was published in October 2021.
A manga adaptation by Ai Takahashi has been published in »Suiyoubi no Sirius« magazine since April 2019. Kodansha Comics has been publishing the work in digital format in English since November 2020.
