Unlike “Patient”, the duo’s first film, “La vie scolaire” is not directly inspired by a true story and it is not the singer’s youth stricto sensu that is described in the feature film.
However, “La vie scolaire” is still inspired by anecdotes from the youth of Grand Corps Malade and Medhi Idir: “It was a pivotal period that marked us a lot. But our memories date from the 90s. get back in the bath, go there to observe, explained Mehdi Idir to Allociné when the film was released.
