38 years after their collaboration for “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”, Harrison Ford and Ke Huy Quan, the interpreter of Demi-Lune, met again at the D23 convention. A happy reunion that the actor recently saw in “Everything Everywhere All at Once” made a point of sharing with the whole world.
The return of Indiana Jones is becoming clearer
At the D23 convention held this weekend in Los Angeles, Disney gave its very large audience something to get excited about. Indeed, several announcements and presentations have been made regarding Marvel licenses and Star Wars. Plus, live-action remakes of classics like Snow White and The little Mermaid were also on the menu. Amid the flurry of announcements for Disney’s immediate and medium-term future, a superstar appeared on stage to show the teaser of a long-awaited return: that of Indiana Jones in a fifth film.
Indeed, it is Harrison Ford himself who showed these images, with undisguised emotion. Unfortunately, at this time, only the public present has been able to lay their eyes on the trailer.
When Indy finds Half-Moon
Harrison Ford, interpreter of the iconic adventurer and professor of archeology, has not only made people happy from the stage. Indeed, he found in the corridors of the Anaheim Convention Center a former playing partner, Ke Huy Quan. The younger generation may not know him, but the children of the 80s and 90s have a perfect memory of him, since he is none other than the interpreter of Half Moon in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and of Data in The Goonies !

Released in 1984 and 1985 respectively, these two films are monuments of pop culture. And 38 years after the release of the second Indiana Jones film, Harrison Ford and Ke Huy Quan have therefore found themselves. The occasion of a photo all smiles for the two men, posted on Instagram.
If the presence of Harrison Ford at the D23 was obvious, What was Ke Huy Quan doing there? ? He was there since he is in the cast of season 2 of Loki. A return to his first profession which is confirmed. Indeed, Ke Huy Quan moved away from the screens from 2002, after only a handful of roles, to return there only in 2021 in Ohana or the hidden treasureand especially in Everything Everywhere All at Once This year.
