Indiana Jones 5: the scenario revealed with a preview of Mads Mikkelsen

Indiana Jones 5 reveals its overarching plot and a very classy first image of actor Mads Mikkelsen in a bad guy costume…for a change!

The English magazine Empire continues to shower us with images and information about Indiana Jones 5. What awaits the adventurer after having faced the aliens?

Indiana Jones 5 will take a leap into the past

Indiana Jones 5 will indeed be much closer to the first films of the franchise, at least on the screenplay level. The new adventure of the professor in archeology will take place in 1969 with the context of the space race.

A framework that will not please Dr. Jones because the moon landing program was directed by his sworn enemies of the ex-Nazis.

The question is how ex-Nazis they are. It’s coming out of Indy’s nose holes.

After Harrison Ford in costume, we also have a snapshot of Mads Mikkelsen in odd black. Called Voller, he will be the Indiana Jones 5 villain who is partially inspired by Wernher von Braun, a Nazi who once existed and ended up becoming a NASA engineer.

Mads Mikkelsen.

An antagonist who is furiously reminiscent of Arnold Ernst Toht, the Nazi from Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

An action scene in New York

The unreleased issue of Empire also features another character: Klaber. Boyd Hollbrook plays the “crazy henchman” of Voller (Mads Mikkelsen). In the photo below, we see him riding a motorcycle as part of an action scene that takes place during the parade through the streets of New York which was organized to welcome the astronauts to the mainland after their trip to the moon.
