Broadcast tonight on TF1, Ice Age 5: The Laws of the Universe brings together the entire prehistoric band for an incredible adventure. If this is the last film to date in the saga, yet another film has been announced … but not in the cinema!
Fifth and last opus of the prehistoric saga released in 2016, Ice Age 5: The laws of the universe, broadcast tonight on TF1, marked an end to the crazy adventures of Sid, Manny, Diego and the rest of the band. .
In this feature film, the gang will have to flee their habitat because of Scrat, gone into space in search of his damn acorn. The latter caused a collision between two planets, which created an asteroid streaking towards Earth.
The Ice Age world being threatened, the gang will then embark on a journey leading them to cross incredible exotic landscapes and meet new wacky and amazing characters, but also to see Buck again, the intrepid weasel of Ice Age 3: Time of the Dinosaurs.
A sequel… on Disney +
If Laws of the Universe was so far the last film to date in the franchise, fans can rejoice since it was announced during Disney Day, which presented the next projects of the firm, that a sixth installment was going to be offered! This new film will, however, not be shown in theaters but on the Disney + platform.
This new opus, entitled Ice Age: The Adventures of Buck Wild, is a spin-off devoted, as its name suggests, to the famous weasel and his friends Crash and Eddie. The trio, along with other characters, set off on a prehistoric mission to save the lost world from the domination of the dinosaurs.
