Still led by Camille Lou, Hugo Becker, Guillaume Labbé, Marilou Berry, and Narcisse Mame, the new season 2 of “I promise you”, the French adaptation of the series “This Is Us” will be broadcast from the end of January on TF1.
The Gallo family is preparing to make its comeback on TF1. Almost a year to the day after the launch of season 1, I promise you, the French remake of This Is Us led by Camille Lou and Hugo Becker, will return to the air from Monday, January 31 for a season 2 inevitably unpublished eagerly awaited by fans.
These 12 new episodes will begin with the 39th anniversary of the triplets. And for the first time, everyone is on the rails of the life to which they have always aspired. Carried by the love of Tanguy (Marc Riso), Maud (Marilou Berry) launches, worried but decided, in her new career as a singer.
Michaël (Guillaume Labbé), happy alongside Maëlle, lands an important role in an international series. As for Mathis (Narcisse Mame), relieved to have succeeded in resigning, he is preparing with his family to welcome a 14-year-old girl into his home.
But 23 years after the death of Paul, Maud, Michaël and Mathis will they finally be able to overcome the mourning of this father who seems to define them constantly and weigh them down? In the past as in the present, the members of the Gallo family, will cross a zone of turbulence which will make them realize their limits, the need to make compromises, and make them want to move mountains.

Julien Cauvin / TF1
Adapted from the arches of This Is Us by Aline Panel, Brigitte Bémol and Julien Simonet, and directed by Renaud Bertrand and Marilou Berry, who now officiates in front of and behind the camera, this second season of I promise you will welcome several new faces, including Anne Brochet, Christophe Malavoy, Jean-Marc Barr, Sara Martins, Daniel Russo, and Charlie Bruneau in a key role linked to Michaël.
“Season 2 explores Michael’s past. He goes back to his romantic past”, also confided Guillaume Labbé a few months ago about these new episodes that he then presented as “darker” for his character.
Finally, the fans will especially not want to miss this second batch of I promise you since it will finally reveal the circumstances of the death of the father, Paul (Hugo Becker), and therefore promises a real wave of emotion. Like season 2 of This Is Us and the episode that finally revealed how Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia) had lost his life.
Appointment from January 31 at 9:10 pm on TF1, at the rate of two episodes per week, to discover the continuation of the adventures of the Gallo family.
