While season 2 of “I promise you”, the French version of “This is Us”, arrives on January 31 on TF1, Salto has just announced the posting of new episodes in preview on its platform.
The Gallo family will be making a comeback on TF1 on January 31 for the broadcast of the new season 2 of I promise you. As the countdown to discovering new episodes has begun, Salto has just announced some news that will delight fans.
Since this Friday, January 21, the first two episodes of season 2 have been put online on the streaming platform. However, you will have to be patient to discover the rest of the season since only two new episodes will be put online every Friday evening, 10 days before their broadcast on TF1.
Composed of 12 episodes, this new season opens on the 39th anniversary of the triplets. For the first time, all members of the Gallo family have their lives back on track. Maud (Marilou Berry) finally embarks on her career as a singer while Michaël (Guillaume Labbé) tries to juggle his relationship with Maëlle and the filming of an international series in which he has landed a role.
As for Mathis (Narcisse Mame), he is getting ready with his family to welcome a 14-year-old girl into his home. For their part, 23 years earlier, Florence (Camille Lou) and Paul (Hugo Becker) try to overcome the crisis that is shaking their couple.
But in the past, as in the present, the members of the Gallo family will go through a zone of turbulence, which will make them realize their limits, the need to make compromises, and make them want to move mountains. This season 2 of I promise you will above all be an opportunity to lift the veil on the circumstances of Paul’s death, which promises a surge of emotions.
Adapted This is Us, whose sixth and final season is currently being broadcast in the United States (and in US+24 in France on CANAL+), this new burst of episodes will be produced by Renaud Bertrand and Marilou Berry, who will be both in front of and behind the camera. Many guests will also make notable appearances, including Anne Brochet, Christophe Malavoy, Jean-Marc Barr, Sara Martins, Daniel Russo, and Charlie Bruneau.
Find the first two episodes of season 2 of I promise you today on Salto. The rest of the season will be put online with two new episodes every Friday, ten days before their broadcast on TF1. For the most patient, meet on Monday January 31 from 9:10 p.m. on the front page.
