While the first season of “I lied” ends this Wednesday evening at 9:05 pm on France 2, will the series worn by Camille Lou and Thierry Neuvic be entitled to a season 2?
France 2 is broadcasting tonight from 9:05 pm the last two episodes of J’ai menti, a detective series carried by Camille Lou and Thierry Neuvic.
For 6 episodes, viewers followed the investigation of Audrey, 35, the sole survivor of a mysterious serial killer who raged in the Biarritz region 16 years earlier. The young woman was indeed brutally brought back to her past when a 17-year-old girl was found murdered on the Basque coast.
Nothing links this murder to the series of crimes committed in the early 2000s by the then nicknamed the killer of Itsas. Yet Audrey is certain: Itsas is back. To prove it, Audrey will have to face her past, her lies. Because that night, when she crossed paths with the killer, she lied. Above all. To everybody.
After 3 weeks of broadcasting, viewers will be able to lift the veil this evening on the identity of the murderer of the young Maialen but above all to discover if the murders of the 90s have a link with the events that occurred 16 years later.
I lied will she be entitled to a season 2?
If the series directed by Frédéric Berthe managed to bring together for its two evenings of diffusion more than 3.3 million curious, it will not know a second season. Indeed, I Lied was thought of as a mini-series. The last episode therefore offers a conclusion to the story that does not call for a sequel.
However, you can very quickly find Camille Lou and Thierry Neuvic on your television screens. The first will indeed be showing Les Combattantes, the next historic event series of TF1 alongside Julie de Bona, Audrey Fleurot and Sofia Essaïdi. She will also reprise her role as Florence in season 2 of I promise you, the French remake of This is Us.
Thierry Neuvic will be in La Maison d’en Face, M6’s next creation, which has just started filming. For the occasion, he will give the reply to Julie de Bona, Marc Ruchmann and Caterina Murino.
