The Hunger Games 5: Return to Panem
In May 2020, Suzanne Collins released a new novel from her Hunger Games saga. Called The Ballad of the Serpent and the Songbird, he is interested in the tenth edition of the games and the youth of Coriolanus Snow. Soon after the release of the novel, the Lionsgate studio announced that it was preparing a fifth film. An obvious decision given the incredible success that the previous saga had in theaters. Indeed, between 2012 and 2015, the four feature films starring Jennifer Lawrence brought in more than three billion dollars at the global box office.

Given that The Ballad of the Serpent and the Songbird is a prequel, the star of the other films The Hunger Games will not be present at the casting. But to lure audiences into theaters, it’s a new gritty heroine from Katniss who carries the story. She will be played in the film by Rachel Zegler, star of the West Side Story by Steven Spielberg, (and future Snow White in Disney’s new live action). Opposite her is actor Tom Blyth who will play Coriolanus Snow.
A few months ago, Lionsgate unveiled a very first snapshot of the two characters:
