In 2018, a Frenchman entered the Guinness World Records for having viewed 715 films in one year and thus holds the world record!
Before the 203 viewings of Kaamelott – First part currently being validated by Guinness, it is more discreetly that another Frenchman entered the prestigious book of records a few years ago. He too achieved a feat related to cinema: he watched 715 feature films in theaters in one year.
His name is Vincent Krohn, he is 29 years old and he watched 14 films a week, including 10 during the weekend!
Launched in March 2017, its marathon saw it in theaters 715 feature films, including around 200 French productions. In August 2018, Guinness approved his record, specifying that he thus dethroned the previous one, which was 500 films seen in a year.
To achieve his record, Krohn told South West first had to pay for two unlimited cinema subscription cards, then had to keep each ticket, take a picture of himself in front of a film frame in the theater, film himself buying the ticket, and enter and leave the theater. .. You don’t beat a record easily!
Vincent Krohn is no stranger to the world of cinema, since he is an international sales administrator at Pathé Films.
