Played by Tom Holland, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) incarnation of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man is crowned with tremendous success: “Spider-Man: Homecoming” was received very warmly (and received 4 stars on DashFUN), the trilogy -Mid Part “Spider-Man: Far From Home” also secured a 4-star review – and even grossed over $1.1 billion at the box office. And the third Jon Watts-directed “Spider-Man” movie easily surpassed that again: “Spider-Man: No Way Home’ has risen to become the sixth-highest-grossing film in cinema history, grossing $1.9 billion. On top of that, part 3 with 4.5 stars in our review just missed the top rating by a hair’s breadth.
Now Sony is addressing all film fans who want to enjoy the Tom Holland trilogy at home, over and over again: All the films in the “Spider-Man: Home” trilogy are now available in one set for the first time – either on DVD or Blu-ray. On top of that, you can get away with the three-pack even cheaper than with the individual editions.

The collections contain the three films on one disc each and also come with bonus material – of course there is more on Blu-ray than on DVD: In addition to mishaps from the set, numerous removed scenes and insights behind the scenes, there is in the case of “Spider-Man : Far From Home” even a short film on top of that. Fans who already have the individual releases already know the extras: The trilogy sets are repacks, so they contain the well-known content.
With the trilogy set you get all the films in which Tom Holland’s Spider-Man plays the central role at a bargain price. Yet the Box only covers part of Spider-Man’s story arc within the MCU. It was introduced in the third Captain America film, The First Avenger: Civil War.
Between “Homecoming” and “Far From Home” the two last “Avengers”-Calls, “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame“. Knowing these is almost essential for a full understanding of the two later Spider-Man films – but that shouldn’t be news to Marvel fans. Alternatively, you can of course also get the MCU with a streaming subscription from Disney+.
