The Acer AOpen QF12 is interesting for everyone who is looking for a cheap entry into the world of projectors. For just under €100 you get a native Full HD resolution, which is a rarity in this price segment.
Other manufacturers state Full HD or even 4K in their product information. However, this usually means that these resolutions are supported as input signals. The image on the screen then does not have Full HD resolution, but is scaled down.
With the QF12, however, you have to keep in mind that its brightness is not particularly impressive. However, the light intensity of the projector is always sufficient for a dark projection room. The Acer AOpen could serve very well as a strong second projector in the basement or in a room that can be easily darkened.
And again: You will currently not find a cheaper projector with a native Full HD resolution in this price range.
But the Acer AOpen QF12 is compact and light. The LED projector weighs just 1.3 kilograms. A good 23 centimeters wide, almost 17 centimeters deep and around nine centimeters high, the QF12 can be placed almost anywhere.
Extensive connection options are a big plus of the mini projector. You can use a TV stick, connect a console or laptop via HDMI cable and an Ethernet adapter via USB port. Even external boxes can be used with a jack plug.
A wireless dongle is included with which you can transfer content wirelessly from your laptop or smartphone to the projector.
