Friday, January 28 in Here it all begins…
SOULEYMANE HAS A WORRYING BEHAVIOR
Souleymane got up early to work in the vegetable garden. Amazed, Antoine is delighted to see him take his mission seriously. While he admits to having been a little harsh with him lately, Rose points out to him that it is not to her that he should say these things then urges him to encourage his son because he needs to know that his father trusts him.
Antoine then finds Souleymane and apologizes to him for having been so severe with him. The principal also takes the opportunity to tell him that he is proud of him and to explain that he is worried. However, it pleases him to see him so motivated and invested in this new project.
Later, Deva makes Souleymane discover some spices. When she makes him smell a leaf of India wood, his face changes as if he had an absence. She asks him what is happening to him but the young man has no idea.
At the end of the day, Rose and Antoine discover Souleymane in tears. Still in a daze, he does not understand what is happening to him and tells his parents that he feels weird. Tired, Souleymane feels the need to rest and locks himself in his room. While Antoine worries and hopes it’s nothing serious, Rose thinks it’s just a passing slack.
CLOTILDE HEARS BAD NEWS
At the Rigauts, the atmosphere is particularly tense between Guillaume and Laetitia. Indeed, the latter is certain that Clotilde is manipulating him with this baby story, but Guillaume is convinced of the contrary.
Meanwhile, Clotilde takes a blood test to confirm her pregnancy. When Constance and Rose question her about Guillaume’s involvement, Clotilde replies that she has confidence because her husband has always wanted another child. And to add that this baby could rekindle the flame between them. According to Rose, it takes a solid couple to get through a pregnancy, but Clotilde is convinced that it can only bring them closer. Deep down, she firmly believes that this child will bring new life to their marriage.
Later, Laetitia, who has understood her rival’s little game very well, confronts Clotilde in the gardens of the institute. Chief Armand may affirm that she is wrong, Laetitia retorts that Guillaume no longer loves her and that she will have to get used to it. As the tone rises, Guillaume intervenes and asks Laetitia to stop adding fuel to the fire. Annoyed, she turns back.
Not far from there, Charlène tells Marta that a poll is circulating at the institute to determine whether Guillaume will choose Clotilde or Laetitia. By discovering this joke in bad taste, Kelly openly attacks Charlène whom she considers responsible.
Also aware that a poll is circulating, Antoine warns Guillaume. Although he feels responsible for the situation, Guillaume confides to him that he is madly in love with Laetitia but that he nevertheless thinks of getting back together with Clotilde to raise their child. Finally, Guillaume recognizes that he made his decision but that he had a lot of trouble admitting it to himself.
For her part, Kelly reports to Laetitia and Salomé that a survey has been launched at the institute. As she finds it difficult to understand why her mother clings so much to Guillaume, she replies that she is quite simply in love and that she has never felt this for any other man. Laetitia therefore refuses for this story to end because imagining a life without Guillaume would hurt her too much.
At the end of the day, Constance reveals to Clotilde that her pregnancy test was a false positive. She is therefore not pregnant. Shaken, chef Armand returns home with the intention of telling her husband everything. When he says he wants to come home to raise their child together, Clotilde changes her mind. And when he specifies that he would like them to give themselves a second chance if she still wants it, Clotilde answers with a big yes before taking him in her arms.
