Clotilde confesses the truth to Claire
After leaving the beef for the Double A dish of the day at room temperature all night long, Louis has put the meat back in its place in the cold room and is certain that Theo will only see fire. After all, it has not changed color and has no smell. Louis hopes that this new scheme will cause Theo’s dismissal, but Clotilde has scruples.
They could poison the customers of the restaurant and the legal fallout from such a health problem would be extremely damaging for the institute. Only, trapped by the blackmail exercised by her half-brother, Clotilde has no choice and must go to the end of the Machiavellian plan scaffolded by Louis.
In the middle of a Double A shot, Marta expresses her doubts to Theo about the freshness of the meat. Clotilde interrupts them and asks them if all is well. Wanting to prove that he is acting as a chef, Theo answers Clotilde that there is no problem and orders Marta to cook the meat without even having looked at it.
During the service, however, several customers quickly complain about the aftertaste of the meat. Lisandro then confides to Clotilde and Théo that he thinks the meat is spoiled, but Théo, surprised, assures that he has put the meat in the cold room as soon as it has been delivered. Not wanting to take any risks, Clotilde orders that all the plates be recovered and asks Theo to provide spare dishes for the customers.
After serving, Teyssier tastes the dish and confirms that the meat is rotten. He thinks Theo is lying to him and that he did not put the pallet in the cold room yesterday. But the young man knows he is not at fault and sticks to his positions. He emits the possibility that Louis has once again tried to trap him by sabotaging his dish of the day, but Clotilde interrupts him and asks him to take his responsibilities. This is second to Teyssier who reminds him that everything that comes out of his kitchen is under his responsibility. Before adding that at the next error, he will be fired.
Later, Clotilde finds Louis in the commissary. She tries to make him understand that his methods are abject, but Louis retorts that instead of pleading she should think a little before sleeping with the first comer. Exasperated, Clotilde slaps her half-brother, but Claire enters the room at that moment and witnesses the scene. Once Louis is gone, Claire tries to understand Clotilde’s gesture and she ends up confessing to him that Louis blackmailed her in order to obtain the post of conductor at Double A.
Claire therefore decides to confront her son. Louis tries to convince his mother that Clotilde is lying and that she made up this whole story to harm him, but Claire is not fooled. She knows her son and knows that he will do anything to get this job. She therefore orders him to stop his ridiculous blackmail. Otherwise, she’ll tell Teyssier everything.
Célia and Ambre get closer
In order to help Solal and Ambre to better prepare for the institute’s entrance exam, Célia decided to have them revise the basics of pastry once again. She suggests that they start with the Italian meringue, which is used for many desserts, and asks them to make a passion fruit and ginger meringue pie. Célia leaves the morning to the two apprentice cooks to train.
On her return to the salt marshes, Celia inspects Solal’s pie and tells him he can put it in the oven. Amber is having trouble with her meringue, which prompts Solal to give her advice. But Amber can’t stand Solal taking himself for the teacher instead of Celia and sending her for a walk. Célia helps Ambre to redo her meringue and Ambre thanks her by admitting to her that she is a good teacher. The two young women then evoke the free relationship that unites Solal and Ambre. They seem to have left the conflicts behind and have come together again.
Looking carefully at the two pies made by her “students”, Célia believes that the two meringues are well executed but ultimately gives the advantage to Ambre. And to take revenge kindly for Solal’s macho behavior, Célia and Ambre ask Solal to clean the …
