DashFUN had the chance to meet some of the cast of the TF1 series “Here everything begins” during the Séries Mania Festival in Lille. The actors Mikaël Mittelstadt, Clément Rémiens, Benjamin Baroche and Célia Benhamour confided in their experience, their characters and tell us more about this successful soap opera.
Here it all begins : the incredible success of the series
Part of the soap opera cast Here it all begins broadcast on TF1, went to the Série Mania Festival to meet their audience, the opportunity for DashFUN to gather some confidences from the four actors who made the trip. The series started in November 2020 and is already enjoying huge success. So much so that the students of the Auguste Armand School cross borders. Indeed, Here it all begins has recently been broadcast on the Spanish platform Mitele More.
An event of which the actors are very proud, and still cannot believe it. According to Benjamin Baroche, the interpreter of chef Teyssier, the enthusiasm for the series is related to the theme of education. Here it all begins differs from other programs daily by illustrating the life of the various student cooks. This is not a detective or sentimental soap opera, although some plots tend towards it. Here, it’s all about learning and transmission, it is a very vast subject, which changes and which speaks to everyone.
Maxime in full transition
Each actor has a different approach to his character and must manage the intensity of his emotions. Mikaël Mittelstatd explains that he puts a lot of himself in his character. The interpreter of the chef Teyssier as for him tries not to be in the overcame. The actor Clément Rémiens, has played Maxime for four years and intends to develop his character. It is important to him to reveal a slightly darker side of his character.
It’s planned to smear this character. But there is much more we could do. I think there is even more complexity to go and find and that’s my fight.
No wonder that in the next broadcasts Maxime becomes darker and darker. Indeed, his relationship with Salomé will be severely tested because of Amber and the young man could be less nice than it has been from the start …
To be continued in the next episodes of Here it all begins broadcast every evening on TF1 at 6.30 p.m.
