It’s a very big surprise for aficionados of the program Here it all begins. A new leader will join the school brigade, and not the least since it is Michel Sarran who will land in the program. The daily soap opera broadcast on TF1 follows the adventures of young apprentice cooks within the Auguste Armand Institute. It’s a fictional school, sure, but the program tries to stay as true as possible to reality – real dishes are prepared and real recipes are prepared.

Reconversion or simple adventure for Michel Sarran?
After eight seasons as a judge on the show Top chef, the cooker return his apron to M6 to put on a new blouse made in the Auguste Armand institute at TF1. Far from being a professional retraining, the chef intends to have a good time by trying his hand at comedy. He undertakes, for the moment, to one month of filming. Michel Sarran nevertheless keeps an eye on his business and his various restaurants. A new adventure begins for the chef who leaves, not without nostalgia, the trays of the Top Chef cooking competition.
But Michel Sarran will still be in his element since he knows very well the kind of establishment that is in Here it all begins. It is part of his daily life. Something to please the various actors of the series such as Clément Rémiens, Aurélie Pons, Elsa Lunghini or even Tom Darmon. A new experience So for Michel Sarran, who was very quickly won over by this proposal:
It really isn’t fiction to me. These institutes really exist in our professional world, they send us interns. It’s a bit my daily life. And it also helps shed light on these establishments that we need. This is also what attracted me. And from what I watched, the coaches do their job well, because the cooking is rather well done.
