Here are the “free” games for December 2021

Like every month before moving on to the next, Microsoft is revealing which games will be included in the Xbox Games With Gold program. For the last month of the year, the escape is beautiful.

Microsoft has communicated the list of four titles that Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to discover next month. On the program for Games With Gold in December, the distribution between two generations of consoles is still just as fair, since the Xbox One and Xbox 360 are both represented, and rather twice than one. As you already know, backward compatibility ensures that all of these titles are playable on Xbox Series X | S as well.

Xbox One:

The Escapists 2 (December 1-31)

Tropico 5 – Penultimate Edition (December 16 to January 15)

This Penultimate Edition includes The Big Cheese and Hostile Takeover expansions and will allow you to rule your dynasty from the earliest days of colonial times to the 21st century, face new challenges as well as discover advanced trading mechanics, scientific and technological research as well as exploration.

Xbox 360:

Orcs Must Die! (from December 1st to 15th)

In the shoes of a powerful war mage loaded with weapons, spells and deadly traps, you will have to defend 24 fortresses against a horde of bloodthirsty enemies. Whichever way you choose, it will be fun to exterminate the monsters in this game at the crossroads of action and strategy.

Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (December 16-31)

In this 2D action adventure game, progress to the heart of the mysterious Shadow Planet through unique environments. Face strange creatures, solve intricate puzzles, and harness alien technology to upgrade your ship while fighting to save your home world.
