“How to with John Wilson” has been renewed for a third season on HBO. In comedy documentaries, filmmaker and self-described “anxious New Yorker” John Wilson seeks advice on deceptively simple matters and pursues his mission of self-discovery while filming the lives of other people in the city.
HBO Renews ‘How to With John Wilson’ for Season 3
Between episodes of the second season “How to Throw Out Your Batteries”, “How to Remember Your Dreams” and “How to Be Spontaneous” is located. The series first aired in 2020. The second season aired in late 2021. The second season, like the first season, received widespread praise for Wilson’s and the series’ candid tone. Wilson has also featured on most of the lists of the best TV performances of 2021.
Amy Gravitt, VP of Programming at HBO, said, “John finds humanity in the most mundane and absurd places. We’re thrilled that he continues to see New York through his incredibly funny and touching lens.” said. In 2021, Wilson said, “I try to come up with very rough scripts of what might happen in an episode, and then we put it into production and put a plan into action to shoot it. “Every script is rewritten from scratch until we’re done.”
Wilson continued his words as follows; “There has to be a lot of rewriting in editing, because we write things that we could never predict will happen on the shoot, and it always turns out to be way better than what we roughly designed.” “How to with John Wilson” is executive produced by Wilson, Nathan Fielder, Michael Koman, and Clark Reinking.
