The series “Hawkeye”, expected this winter, is revealed through a new trailer. Once again, these images emphasize a light and humorous tone. Release scheduled for November 24 on Disney +.
Hawkeye : the character has the right to his own series
Hawkeye, or Hawkeye in the original version, has been in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for Thor in 2011. While he makes a brief appearance there, time to unveil the actor Jeremy Renner in the skin of the archer, it returns, this time in a more important way, the following year in Avengers. Subsequently, the character has a series of appearances, whether in the other three films Avengers, in Captain America: Civil War and in the series What If…?. But of the original Avengers, he is the only one not to have had his own film.
Obviously, Falcon’s Eye will never have a feature film in its image. It will be necessary that Jeremy Renner is content with a Disney + series soberly titled Hawkeye. This one is directed by Jonathan Igla and will be used to pass the torch to a new archer: Kate Bishop. This heroine, well known to comic readers, a member of the Young Avengers, will be played by actress Hailee Steinfeld. Logically, if the series follows the plot of the comics, Clint Barton will mentor him, before giving way to it as the new Falcon Eye.
New images
Marvel Studios has just unveiled new images from the series. Unsurprisingly, this new teaser confirms that Hawkeye will have a lighter treatment than previous series, and will opt more for a comic approach. The MCU seems to be refilling a well-known recipe that mixes action and valves galore with bewildering ease. The fans will therefore be in more than familiar territory. Some will take the opportunity to point the finger at the MCU’s lack of renewal.

On November 24, Disney + will release two episodes at onceHawkeye. The show will contain 6 episodes of a format that should approach 1 hour. Thus, the idea of publishing two episodes ofHawkeye suddenly is to get closer to a film format, with a double episode of around 2 hours. The series will also bring back Linda Cardellini as Laura Barton, while the rest of the cast will also feature Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop and Florence Pugh back in Yelena Belova.
