Like every week on DashFUN, find all the details that should not be missed in Hawkeye (Disney +). Zoom this time on episode 4.
The noose tightens in episode 4 of Hawkeye, available this morning on Disney +. As the two archers embark on a perilous mission, a new enemy will appear and change the game. Enough to inaugurate an action-packed end of the season!
If episode 4 is less stingy with easter eggs, it shows us a Clint Barton weakened and broken by his past, but ready to do anything to protect his family and his new recruit, Kate.
The mysterious call
If we do not know what role exactly Kate’s mother (Vera Farmiga) plays in this story, this mysterious call confirms in any case that she is involved in all this. Did she call Valentina de Fontaine to handle the situation? Or Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin aka Echo’s adoptive father in the comics, who fans would love to see appear on the show? Episode 5 should give us more precision.
The stolen rolex in episode 1
But to whom can it belong? It is rumored that it contains information about Laura (Linda Cardellini), Clint Barton’s wife. According to fans, this is a former agent of SHIELD, specifically Bobbi Morse / Mockingbird. Her fluency in German and the way she helps her husband find information may confirm this lead.
The Thanos Mug
An inscription that we had already seen in episode 1, but this time on a cup held by our hero. Funny choice when you know that Clint suffered a lot from the disappearance of his family and that he then became Ronin for this reason.
A conversation that may seem trivial, except that it is a direct nod to the comics Hawkeye (more precisely # 3). In this issue, the two archers are pursued by the Tracksuit Mafia and Clint makes him discover his Boomerang arrow, which has the particularity of returning to its sender. An absurd idea that makes Kate laugh …
His meeting with Black Widow
In this discussion, Clint recalls with great emotion (and sorrow) his first meeting with Natasha (the musical theme of Vormir is played at this point). A scene that we have never seen on screen but which was addressed in the first Avengers. The archer had been commissioned by SHIELD to eliminate the slayer, but the latter eventually sided with to work for Nick Fury and the protection agency.
A nod to Natasha’s death
Needless to say, Clint was traumatized by Natasha’s death in Avengers 4 since he wanted to sacrifice himself for her. And this scene is a remake of this trauma since the superheroine sacrificed herself by also jumping into the void. But more fear than harm in this case since Kate was saved by a cable.
Yelena is finally here
We waited for him firmly, here we are finally in flesh and blood, in order to carry out his revenge. Remember in the post-credits scene of Black Widow, Yelena (Florence Pugh) was approached by the Countess who revealed to her that Hawkeye was responsible for her sister’s death (which is not true). Clint therefore has to worry …
