Harry Potter fans will surely have recognized actor Alfred Enoch in Foundation (Apple Tv +), who lent his face to Gryffindor wizard Dean Thomas in the magical saga.
From Hogwarts to an ambitious intergalactic saga. Alfred Enoch stars in the Apple TV + Foundation series, a successful adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s novels. He plays Raych, a close friend of the mathematician Harry Seldon (Jared Harris), banished by the Empire for having predicted through psychohistory the fall of civilization.
With thousands of volunteers – including Raych – they have embarked on a crazy gamble: to try to save the foundations of their culture to offer this data to future generations who will have to rebuild society. If the young man at first appears as a disciple of Seldon, the two actually share a more ambiguous relationship.
Alfred Enoch is not his first attempt in film and television – we have seen him in the great Broadchurch and Murder series alongside Viola Davis – but he will always be remembered as Dean Thomas, classmate and roommate of our hero with round glasses in the Harry Potter saga. It was this role that launched his career in 2001.
Twenty years later, the little wizard has grown up. At the height of his 32 years, he is close to saving the world again in Foundation, to be discovered every Friday on Apple TV +.
