With less than a month of the broadcast on HBO Max, “Harry Potter: Return to Hogwarts”, the special reunion show, unveils a very nostalgic first photo. We find Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint at Hogwarts, chatting.
Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts for 20 years of first film
Nostalgia is a weapon of mass seduction, and that, HBO Max understood it well. Indeed, the Warner Bros. streaming platform, launched in the United States in May 2020, takes advantage of its huge catalog to offer fans a moving reunion. The first that comes to mind is obviously that of the series Friends, broadcast last May. The six actors had found themselves in the sets of the series, recreated for the occasion, to evoke together memories of filming. It is on this same model that HBO Max will broadcast the January 1, 2022 the Harry Potter reunion.
Baptized Harry Potter: Return to Hogwarts, it will take place, as its name suggests, in the settings of the school of witchcraft. Twenty years after the release of the first film, the doors of the Magic School will therefore reopen, to welcome former students and teachers.
As revealed in the first teaser of this highly anticipated event by fans, a large part of the cast will be there. Starting of course with the three stars of the saga: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint.
Harry, Hermione and Ron reunite in the first photo
With less than a month to go, HBO Max has unveiled the very first official photo of the reunion. We discover the interpreters of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley, comfortably installed in the common room of Gryffindor:
According to this first shot, HBO Max has put the set level package to recreate the atmosphere of Hogwarts. Since many guests are expected, it is possible that several cult rooms in the castle will be used. We think in particular of the Great Hall.
The three actors, with a smile on their face, seem in any case very happy to be back in the memories of the magical saga. In France, Harry Potter: Return to Hogwarts should air on Salto.
