On a promotional poster for “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”, an actress appears in the background … instead of another!
Did Ginny take Polyjuice Potion? The question is legitimate in the light of a promotional poster for the fifth film adapted from JK Rowling’s magical saga: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Between the faces of Ron and Harry is in the background Bonnie Wright, the actress playing Ginny Weasley. But is it really her?
If from a distance, we could recognize Bonnie Wright, who plays Ginny Weasley, indeed, once the zoom is done, we can only see the error made by the team that worked on this promotional element of the film in the United States. Perhaps this is a request from the actress not to appear on the poster for some unknown reason?
Well done in any case to the fans who have spotted this blunder, rare on the marketing of a saga as important and popular as Harry Potter. It is possible that the young woman we see is Alisha Smith, Bonnie Wright’s stunt double.
It is also possible that Ginny’s interpreter was not available on the day of the photoshoot, that a liner was used and that the team forgot to place the face of the young actress instead of that of the lining. Maybe it’s just Bonnie Wright, but so touched up that she’s become unrecognizable?
Either way, this strangeness on the poster will go unnoticed and the film directed by David Yates will rake in $ 941.6 million. It will appear in 5th in the top of the biggest successes of the year 2007 of the American cinema behind Pirates of the Caribbean: To the end of the world and in front of The Vengeance in the skin.
