For a few years now, retrogaming lovers have been able to count on the good care of the publisher Hamster to make accessible some old glories thanks to the Arcade Archives range. And the pace is not a priori about to slow down.
If you also develop a certain idea of laziness when it comes to looking for your old machines, the Hamster editor preserves in its own way a good part of the video game heritage. How then ? Quite simply by providing dozens of more or less cult titles from the arcade world or the inaccessible Neo Geo.
It’s in the old Pow …
The Arcade Archives range could soon be completed with a brand new label, since Hamster Corporation has just registered a brand new brand in Japan: Console Archives, registered in Japanese and in English in the text.
If nothing obviously explicitly indicates what we can expect from this range, we can easily imagine the desire for openings that must itch the publisher. And we can therefore expect to see soon a new group of titles coming from old consoles still little or not exploited.
That we do cool things
It is an understatement to say that since 2017, Hamster Corporation has demonstrated remarkable consistency in its activity as curator of video game heritage. Indeed, the list available on the publisher’s official website displays several hundred entries, a counter which should therefore continue to climb.
While waiting to find out which titles will kick off the range Console Archives, don’t hesitate to let us know your wildest wishes in the comments below.
