Check out the alternate ending scene from David Gordon Green’s “Halloween Kills” horror movie. WARNING ! This article (obviously) contains spoilers on the film!
Halloween Kills: The Return of Michael Myers
Presented as a world premiere at the last Venice Film Festival, Halloween kills was released in French theaters on October 20. Still directed by David Gordon Green, this second film picks up directly after the events ofHalloween released in 2018.
After surviving Laurie’s (Jamie Lee Curtis) trap who locked him in his burning house, Michael Myers was back to killing, more violent than ever. Laurie for her part, injured, was being treated at the hospital, ignoring that Michael was still alive. After setting the town of Haddonfield on fire, Michael ended up killing Karen (Judy Greer), Laurie’s daughter, in his old house where he had killed her sister 40 years earlier. Halloween kills ended there, with Michael’s face contemplating his reflection in the glass.
Alternate ending scene revealed
The film has been available on VOD in the United States for a few hours, with the bonuses that accompany this release. One of them reveals the alternate ending of the film, which actually turns out to be a long version of the final footage seen in theaters.
Indeed, in it, Laurie calls Karen on her phone from the hospital, and Michael answers. She then hears the latter’s breath, and understands that something has happened to her daughter. She says “I’m coming for you Michael “ (“I’m coming to get you, Michael“) and leaves the hospital armed with his knife. Check it out below:
This alternate scene opens the door to the final confrontation that all fans of the saga are waiting for: Halloween Ends. However, this latest film in David Gordon Green’s trilogy will not take place the same night. Indeed, the director had unveiled a few months ago that the plot would take place in 2022, the year of the film’s release, expected on October 19.
But the long-awaited confrontation should take place, and we hope it will be grandiose.
