After two first films released in 2018 and 2021, David Gordon Green’s Halloween saga ends with Halloween Ends. Check out the very first trailer for the return of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode.
Halloween : continuation and end
Forty years after terrorizing Laurie Strode one Halloween night in 1978, Michael Myers had come back to haunt her. Thus, the director David Gordon Green had made the bet to offer a direct sequel to John Carpenter’s masterpiece, ignoring all the other (more or less successful) sequels released after it.
As a result, in the 2018 film, Michael had been locked up for 40 years in a high-security penitentiary establishment, and Laurie lived in anguish to cross his path again. Always camped by Jamie Lee Curtis, she had built herself over the years a real arsenal of war. Who ended up paying when she finally found Michael.
A trailer for Halloween Ends
While we thought he was dead, he was finally out of the flames and had resumed its violent slaughter in the aptly named Halloween Kills released in 2021. The final clash with Laurie will take place this year in Halloween Endswaited for October 19. And he promises to be very violent again, as we can see in the trailer (in one article).
Small clarification all the same, unlike the two previous films, this third film will not take place during the same night of October 31, but four years later. Michael will hunt down Laurie again for a final face-off that promises to be bloody. Which of the two will survive? Will they both leave their skin there? We’ll find out next fall.
