“Halloween Ends” will be released in October 2022 in our theaters. Filming is coming to an end in the United States as Jamie Lee Curtis has finished shooting. And also said goodbye to the role of his life, Laurie Strode.
Halloween Ends: Farewell Haddonfield
In 2018, David Gordon Green decided to breathe new life into the saga of Halloween. And his bet is rather risky: to make a trilogy which would resume 40 years later the events of John Carpenter’s first film and would ignore any sequels. The first part, simply baptized Halloween hits theaters in October 2018.
In this one, Michael Myers has spent the last forty years behind bars, and Laurie descends into paranoia.

But after an incident, Michael returns to Haddonfield and finds Laurie’s trace. After a bloody confrontation, the latter manages to trap him and believes him dead. Alas, the boogeyman comes out again. It is the starting point of Halloween Kills released last October, which is undoubtedly the most violent episode of the saga.
But the highly anticipated final showdown between Michael and Laurie won’t take place until October 2022, in Halloween Endswhich will mark the end of the trilogy and possibly the saga (even if Hollywood taught us that we were never safe from a final reboot).
Jamie Lee Curtis has completed filming
This third film, still directed by David Gordon Green, will take place four years after the events of Kills. Filming is coming to an end in the United States as Jamie Lee Curtis has finished shooting. And she shared a moving message on her Instagram account to say goodbye to the role of her life, Laurie Strode.
Last shooting in Savanah. I’m going home. When I play Laurie Strode, I get rid of Jamie Lee Curtis jewelry (…) these lucky charms are around my neck to remind me of who I am every day, and I’m happy to find them again at the end of the shoot (. ..) I’m Jamie again.
The actress also says she is physically marked by the filming, which promises one last brutal face-off which should result in the death of Michael or Laurie (or even both). We notice among his jewels a knife with the inscription “Halloween“. Laurie will ultimately never be far from Jamie’s heart.
