On the official Twitter account the anime adaptation of »Haikyu!!« was released today announcedthat the anime series will continue with a two-part film project. You can see a teaser video and a first visual for the announcement further down in this article.
Movies are meant to complete adaptation
So far it is only known that the two-part film project is intended to be the finale of the anime adaptation. A special kick-off event is scheduled to take place in August 2023. Further details are not available at this time. As usual, we will keep you up to date.
The anime adaptation of »Haikyu!!«, which was created by Studio Production IG, comprises a total of four seasons as well as several recap films and special episodes. In Germany, the series was released on DVD and Blu-ray by the publisher peppermint anime with a German and Japanese soundtrack.
The original manga by Haruichi Furudate was published in Weekly Shounen Jump magazine between February 2012 and July 2020. The series is published by KAZÉ Manga in German.
