The Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will live their last lap with the third episode, still directed by James Gunn. As filming takes place, Zoe Saldana shared a behind-the-scenes video. Which was not at all to Marvel’s taste…
Guardians of the Galaxy 3: the end of the trilogy
The Guardians of the Galaxy have managed to carve out a place a little apart in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to the style instilled by James Gunn. Like the Deadpool films – with less violence, of course – the superhero team is above all distinguished by its madness which brings a breath of fresh air to a genre that has been wisely codified for years.
So, inevitably, when we thought that James Gunn would not be back on the third opus because of a scandal, we were a little scared. But everything is back to normal, fortunately, and Disney has understood that he was the man for the job.
A very special feature film because it will be the last on the tape at Star-Lord. Will the characters then disappear from the MCU? We don’t know, but the director said recently that the end was planned for the team. The release of the film Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is scheduled for May 3, 2023, on French screens.
Zoe Saldana censored by Marvel
For the moment, the filming started last November continues. It should be in its last phase and, unlike other productions of this caliber, the paparazzi don’t have much to chew on. The studio must ensure that everything remains as confidential as possible. Marvel is obviously not kidding, as Zoe Saldana learned at her expense.
The actress who plays Gamora posted a behind-the-scenes video on her Instagram account. We see her on it with her makeup, a cup of mate, and a filming document. The studio reproached the interpreter for having let this pass on social networks and this is how she reposted the same video, slightly reworked, to satisfy her employers:
I had to remove this because of Marvel security. Now that I’ve covered what they don’t want you to see, let’s just focus on mate.
However, it would appear that the documents did not contain sensitive information. At a time when leaks on the net are difficult to erase once they have taken place, we understand that Marvel prefers to stick to zero tolerance.
