Gran Turismo 7 : four new free cars including one signed Dior

Polyphony Digital is about to roll out a new update for Gran Turismo 7. A 1.20 patch that brings more new iconic free cars, tracks and more to the GT Café.

Taken down by some of the community due to its in-game economy, Gran Turismo 7 is improving day by day. The content will also grow in a few hours, and as usual, without having to take out the wallet. It’s a gift !

4 new free cars for Gran Turismo 7

This Thursday, August 25, 2022, Gran Turismo 7 will be upgraded to version 1.20 to accommodate new content lovingly prepared by Kazunori Yamauchi and the Polyphony Digital teams. The most important additions of this update are obviously the 4 new cars, “between tradition and modernity”.

We start with the one who won 15 races out of 16 during the 1988 season of the Formula 1 world championship, the F1 McLaren MP4/4 1988. A turbocharged car driven by Ayrton Senna, who took 13 pole positions, 8 wins and won the drivers’ championship with it.

Even older, the 1969 Pontiac GTO ‘The Judge’, a muscle car that clearly had some under the hood. The limited edition of the De Tomaso Mangusta Dior version, with a range of accessories for the pilot, arrives the same day. Finally, more recently, the Porsche Cayman GT4 ’16a sporty variation of the Cayman model with the power of a 911, arrives in Gran Turismo 7.

New layouts and menus

Beyond these beautiful vehicles, there will be 3 new tracks for the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit : Catalunya GP No Chicane, Catalunya National and Catalunya Rallycross. Chef Yamauchi-san also prepared 2 other menus for the GT Café, namely “Abarth” collection and “GR.2 racing cars”. Both are available at Collector Level 27.

In our gallery, you will find the images that illustrate all the contents mentioned that are part of the 1.20 update.

Gran Turismo 7 is available on PS5 and PS4.
