God of War Ragnarok: the photo mode finally available, or almost

God of War Ragnarok is finally available, but a much-loved fan feature couldn’t be there at launch. But that was before a modder came to put his grain of salt.

We are talking here of course about the photo mode, a big trend in current games, which is making the days of thousands of players happy. who flood social networks with their most beautiful shots. Titles like Horizon Forbidden West, The Last of Us Part 1 or Forza Horizon 5 (to name a few) thus take advantage of their advantageous plastic to lend themselves to the exercise as much as possible, except God of War Ragnarok who forgot the mode along the way.

It’s a shame as it is sublime, but yes, the highly anticipated God of War Ragnarok completely missed out on its photo mode when it was released. Santa Monica, however, wanted to reassure fans by saying that it would arrive shortly after the launch of the game, and it is.

God of War Ragnarok has its photo mode thanks to a fan

Except that it is not the studio which is at the origin of the thing, but the modder Speclizerrenowned in the industry, who found the famous unfinished photo mode and made it operational with a simple sleight of hand, of which he has the secret.

However, he points out in the columns ofEurogamer that in its current state, the photo mode is not fully finished and a lot of things are missing and/or could be changed between now and the official release. He nevertheless emphasizes that as it stands, the mode is partially functional and resembles that of God of War 2018.
On the other hand, the latter would already be embellished with new additions such as the possibility of changing the expressions of Mimir (the head that Kratos carries around on his belt most of the time), in addition to having a brand new interface.
In any case, if it is not yet made public, the photo mode of God of War Ragnarok works fine. Santa Monica should not be long in publishing it in a completely official way.
