Passed by the Cours Florent, Mickaël Lumière polishes his art on stage and in multiple short films such as Four Days. After making an appearance in season 1 of Skam France, a series for teens adapted from a successful Norwegian format, then in Plus Belle la Vie, the daily soap opera of France 3, the young actor was chosen in 2018 to play the boyfriend of the heroine of My Baby, directed by Lisa Azuelos.

The same year, he found himself at the top of the poster for La Vérité si je mens! The Debut, a prequel to the famous cinematographic saga in which he plays young Dov, a character previously played by Vincent Elbaz in the first and third parts and Gad Elmaleh in the second. The film will unfortunately not meet the expected success …

Mickael Lumière finds himself in the spotlight again in September 2020, when TF1 viewers discover the young Nice man in the skin of the late Grégory Lemarchal in Why i live. This biopic follows the overwhelming journey of the young singer who died in 2007 from cystic fibrosis.

His striking resemblance to the artist makes him the ideal candidate for this special role. Mickael thus invested himself thoroughly and watched all the Star Academy programs in order to learn his gestures, his expressions, his humor… For the occasion, he gives the answer to Odile Vuillemin and Arnaud Ducret, who embody the parents of Grégory as well as Lou Gala, a young actress seen in Les Chamois, who plays his sister.

In 2021, he landed the main role of the romantic comedy Friendzone ; he plays Thibault, an inveterate romantic, unable to conclude with the least of his suitors because of his shy and hesitant temperament. Coached by his best friends, the latter will do everything to try to find the one of his heart.

Perfectly at ease in the comic register, Mickaël Lumière is however a complete actor, as confirmed by his upcoming appearance in the mini-series Mon ange, alongside Muriel Robin and Patrick Chesnais. This series of four episodes produced by TF1 follows the story of a mother launched desperately in the footsteps of her daughter, mysteriously disappeared eight years earlier.

Barely 25 years old, and at the head of a filmography which already commands respect, there is no doubt that Mickaël Lumière will very soon be able to claim a place of choice among the new hopes of French cinema.
