The second season of “The White Lotus” on HBO wraps up the main cast with the addition of Theo James, Meghann Fahy, Will Sharpe, and Leo Woodall.
Four New Cast Added to ‘White Lotus’ Season 2 Roster
Four players joined the previously announced cast, such as F. Murray Abraham, Adam DiMarco, Tom Hollander, Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza, and Haley Lu Richardson.
It was previously reported that the star of the first season, Jennifer Coolidge, will return for the second season, but HBO has not yet officially confirmed this. The first season will take place in Hawaii, while the new season will take place in Sicily.
Fahy (“The Bold Type”, “One Life to Live”) and James (“Divergent”, “Sanditon”) will play Daphne and Cameron Babcock as husband and wife. Sharpe (“Giri/Haji,” “Flowers”) will play Ethan Spiller, who is on vacation with his wife, Harper (Plaza), and the Babcocks. Woodall (“Cherry”) will play Jack, who is described as a magnetic guest staying on The White Lotus.
Fahy, James, and Sharpe will be in the main cast of the series, while Woodall will be a guest star. “White Lotus” was created by Mike White, who served as writer, director, and executive producer on the series. David Bernad and Mark Karmine are also executive producers.
The series received strong reviews when it premiered in July 2021, and Coolidge was particularly praised for her role as the grieving Tanya McQuoid. Murray Bartlett also attracted attention for his role as Armond, the White Lotus resort manager.
